A BRIEF HISTORY
In August of 1977 a small group of believers who had been doing home bible formed Heritage Baptist Church (Now Broomfield Community Church). The first official service of Heritage Baptist Church was on Sunday, December 25, 1977 at the Greenway Park clubhouse in Broomfield. Sunday services were held at the Greenway Park clubhouse until February 19, 1978.
The site for the church building along Miramonte Boulevard in Broomfield was purchased on May 12, 1978. Groundbreaking for the church building was on Easter Sunday, April 6, 1980. Construction on the church building began in November 1980. The first service in the church building at 255 Miramonte Boulevard was on Sunday, October 18, 1981. A dedication service was held on October 23, 1981. Heritage Baptist Church changed the name to Broomfield Community Church in 1999.
